WHAT IS YOUTH IN ACTION:
High energy leadership training for high school students (9-12 grade) throughout ND & northwestern MN. Students receive the skills & empowerment to make a difference in their school & community. This one day event includes: outstanding national speakers, activities, entertainment & yes—even food!
Youth In Action (YIA) events were held in September 2009 and again in September 2010. Hundreds of high school students from across North Dakota and western Minnesota were able to take part in this opportunity. Unfortunately, funding challenges have forced us to cancel YIA tentatively scheduled for September 2011. Future YIA events will be planned as funding allows.
