Abstinence Education
URGENT! North Dakota Special Legislative Session begins November 5…and could include measures to restore funding for abstinence education within the state.  Click the link above to get an update and learn how to take action.

Attention North Dakota parents…are you aware of House Bill 1229 that passed through the ND Legislature in the 2011 session?   This bill states that, beginning on July 1, 2012, ND schools must include abstinence education instruction when providing sexual health education to students.

Did you know that parents are the number one influence on whether or not their children engage in sexual activity? Your kids WANT you to talk to them about sex and to specifically encourage them to wait until marriage to have sex.

They may act like they aren’t listening, but they really are! Talk early and talk often! Every day say to your teen, “I love you, I’m proud of you, and I want you to wait until you are married to have sex!”
